Hammond Innovations is a research and innovation collective driven by the mission and legacy of HammondCare, based in St Leonards, New South Wales. It unites three previously separate entities — The Dementia Centre, The Palliative Centre, and The Centre for Positive Ageing — into an integrated organisation focused on transforming dementia, palliative and complex care. The organisation works with aged care providers through consulting packages, workshops, environmental reviews, and training programmes rather than operating a residential facility itself. Its work includes developing dementia-enabling small household models, distress assessment tools, and wellbeing programmes such as the Embrace palliative project. Hammond Innovations is supported by philanthropy through The Hammond Foundation and has a track record of translating research into national care standards.
