John Curtin Aged Care is a not-for-profit residential aged care home set amongst cottage gardens in the rural town of Creswick, Victoria, about a 20-minute drive from Ballarat. The home offers sixty-five permanent places, seventeen of which are within a dedicated memory support unit, alongside nineteen independent living units operated as a licence/lease retirement village. All rooms are single with a private ensuite, ranging from standard through to premium sizes, and care is delivered by staff with Certificate III, Enrolled and Registered Nursing qualifications supported by allied health professionals. On-site features include a fully equipped gymnasium with weekly physiotherapist-run sessions, the Bill Huntley function room, a library with large-print and audio collections, WiFi in all rooms, and Café Curtin which is open to the public seven days a week. Homestyle meals are cooked daily from fresh and home-grown produce, and a wheelchair-accessible mini bus supports social outings.
