Cabanda Care is a community-owned, not-for-profit aged care provider based at 59 John Street, Rosewood, Queensland, founded in 1979 and now the largest care provider and employer in the town. It offers the full spectrum of care for up to 150 older people, including permanent residential care, centre-based respite, a dedicated dementia unit, plus a residential village of 52 units (42 independent living units and 10 long-term rentals). It also runs Home Care Packages, DVA community nursing, Meals on Wheels, community transport and the Cabanda Café. All resident rooms are ensuited, with couples rooms available, and accommodation pricing is publicly disclosed with a maximum RAD of $450,000. From 1 April 2026, Cabanda Care in Rosewood transitioned to Lutheran Services.
