Cabanda Aged Care is a not-for-profit residential aged care home in Rosewood, Queensland, about a 20-minute drive south-west of Ipswich, operated by Lutheran Services. It has served the Rosewood community since 1987 and is now the largest aged care service in the town, having originally been built through local fundraising and volunteer effort. Cabanda offers permanent residential care, centre-based and residential respite, and palliative care, with 24-hour on-site nursing and registered nursing support. Accommodation options include private ensuite single rooms (12m²), shared-bathroom single rooms (11.5m²), and couples rooms with ensuite (18m²). Residents enjoy chef-prepared meals cooked fresh on-site, an onsite café open weekdays, visiting hairdressing, allied health and visiting medical/pharmacy services, and a calendar of activities centred on the music, art, movies and stories residents love.
