Rumbalara Elders Facility

Rumbalara Elders Facility in Shepparton North is a residential aged care facility operated by the Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative, providing culturally safe and appropriate aged care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders in the Goulburn Valley and Yorta Yorta nation lands. The facility offers a uniquely safe cultural environment where Elders can receive care while maintaining connection to their culture, language, Country, and family community, supported by Aboriginal staff and culturally informed care practices. Rumbalara is one of Victoria's most significant Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, and its Elders facility is a landmark service for the First Nations peoples of the Goulburn Valley.
