Magnolia Cottage

Magnolia Cottage is a day respite and social support service located at 2 Halcot Ave, North Nowra NSW 2541, operated by Fresh Hope Communities, the welfare arm of Churches of Christ in NSW and ACT. The service welcomes community-dwelling individuals experiencing memory loss who are not currently in residential care, offering tailored programs in a small, home-like environment. Operating Monday to Wednesday and Friday from 9:30am to 2:30pm, the program provides morning tea, a hot lunch, a Strength, Stretch and Balance program, social outings, and personal hygiene support. Staff are qualified in dementia and related disorders, and the program includes both gender-specific and mixed group days throughout the week. Transport is available for some locations across the Nowra region, with the service funded through the Australian Government's Commonwealth CHSP Program.
