Gunning District Community and Health Service (trading as Gunning Community Care) is a not-for-profit community health service based in Gunning, NSW, that has supported elderly and disabled residents across the Southern Tablelands and Canberra Country region since 1981. The organisation provides home-based aged care support — not residential aged care — including case management, dementia support, respite care, domestic assistance, meal delivery, equipment loans, transport to medical appointments, and palliative care under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care Packages. A community nursing team and visiting allied health professionals (physiotherapist, podiatrist, occupational therapist, and others) deliver care in clients' homes or at the Gunning Courthouse clinic, with four-wheel-drive vehicles used to reach remote farming properties.
