Aboriginal Elders Village

Aboriginal Elders Village is Adelaide's only residential aged care home specifically for First Nations peoples, located in Davoren Park and supporting up to 33 residents with low to high care needs. Established in 1995, the facility provides both short-term respite and long-term residential care with 24/7 qualified staff trained in culturally sensitive care. Daily life is centred around First Nations culture, with traditional food, music, art, storytelling, and connection to Country integrated throughout. On-site allied health services include speech pathology, podiatry, audiology, and optometry, along with specialised palliative care. Activities include gardening, cooking traditional meals, crafts, intergenerational playgroups, and community outings, all grounded in respect for First Nations traditions and wellbeing.
