Glendalough Home is a purpose-built, modern aged care facility located 6km northwest of Perth's CBD, operated by the Little Sisters of the Poor since 1920 and redeveloped in 2019. The facility features a unique 'streetscape design' where residents' rooms open onto corridors resembling a lively street complete with gardens, benches, and streetlights. The Home offers residential and palliative care in private single rooms with modern ensuites, surrounded by landscaped gardens and courtyards including a spacious BBQ area for family gatherings. Common areas include activity rooms, hobby spaces, a chapel, hairdressing salon, cafeteria, and physiotherapy suite, all designed to encourage social interaction and support residents' wellbeing.
