Halls Creek Community Care INC
35 Thomas St, Halls Creek WA 6770, Australia
Halls Creek Community Care is an aged care and community support service for the residents of Halls Creek, a remote Kimberley town at the edge of the Tanami Desert and an important service centre for the surrounding Aboriginal communities of the Kimberley and Pilbara, including the Kija, Jaru, and Gooniyandi peoples. The organisation provides community nursing, aged care support, and social services for the predominantly Aboriginal population of Halls Creek and surrounding communities, operating in one of Australia's most challenging and remote environments where access to services is severely limited. Halls Creek is known as the gateway to Wolfe Creek Crater — one of the world's largest and best-preserved meteorite impact craters — and to the Bungle Bungles via the Tanami Track.
