Challenge Community Services is an NDIS disability services provider operating across regional and metropolitan New South Wales and the greater Brisbane area in Queensland, headquartered in Tamworth. Founded in 1958 as the Tamworth and District Handicapped Children's Association, the organisation has grown to support thousands of people across more than 100 communities. Services include Supported Independent Living, Specialist Disability Accommodation, Assistance with Daily Living, respite care, support coordination, foster care, allied health, and supported employment. With a workforce of over 1,000 people — including more than 90 employees with disability — it is one of the largest community support services in New South Wales. This is an NDIS community support and disability services organisation, not a residential aged care facility.
