Wivenhoe Village

Wivenhoe Village is an award-winning over-55s retirement village in Cobbitty (Camden), NSW, developed through a joint venture between the Sisters of the Good Samaritan and private developer Mbark. The village comprises 149 freestanding, north-facing private homes spread across 10 hectares, surrounded by 120 hectares of protected Cumberland Plain Woodland with over 7 km of walking and cycling trails. Residents have exclusive use of The Lodge, a resort-style clubhouse featuring an indoor heated 18-metre pool, fully equipped gymnasium with pilates and yoga space, a 50-seat cinema, library with billiard table, and a bar, lounge and covered sandstone deck. The village provides independent living only, with no on-site nursing or residential aged care; the Resident Services Manager can arrange external health services and assist with transitions to higher-level care when needed.
