Uniting Salamander Bay is a residential aged care facility at 4 Muller Street, Salamander Bay NSW 2317, operated by Uniting, a not-for-profit Uniting Church organisation. It uses an innovative 'Household Living' model across three separate households of up to 20 residents each, including a secure Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Residents receive round-the-clock personal care support for health and medication needs, with a Registered Nurse on site daily and access to allied health professionals including physiotherapy. The home encourages residents to personalise their rooms and provides services such as a hairdressing salon, massage, and nutritional wellness programmes. Open visiting is warmly welcomed, and visitors can enjoy activities such as board games or a family BBQ on the grounds.
