Bribie Island Community Care Program

Bribie Island Community Care Program in Woorim is a community aged care programme on Bribie Island, the northernmost of South East Queensland's Moreton Bay islands, providing day programme, social support, and community care services for the large retiree population of this island community 80 km north of Brisbane. Bribie Island has one of the highest concentrations of retirees of any community in Queensland, and the community care programme provides social day activities, carer respite, and support coordination to help older island residents remain independent and connected. Woorim is on Bribie Island's eastern ocean beach side, with the programme accessible to residents across the island's residential areas.
