Palm Beach Share and Care

Palm Beach Share and Care (Share 'n Care Centre) is a not-for-profit community centre for seniors on the Gold Coast in Queensland, focused on health, happiness and social connection. It runs a Meals on Wheels service delivering affordable, well-balanced meals to older adults and others who find it difficult to prepare food, with online ordering and set delivery areas. The centre hosts a wide range of social activities including dancing, card games, indoor lawn bowls, chess, bingo, sewing classes and exercise sessions, as well as offering hall hire and on-site hairdressing and beauty services. It supports older adults, people with disabilities and vulnerable community members, and relies on volunteers, sponsors, donations and gifts in wills as a registered charity. This is a community support and day-activity centre rather than a residential aged care home.
