Garden City Aged Care Services is a residential aged care facility located at 33 Tryon Street, Upper Mount Gravatt in Brisbane's south, operated by Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) since 2004. The purpose-built home offers single-room suites with kitchenettes and Palm Court, a secure, home-like cottage designed for residents with dementia, with a maximum RAD of $650,000 for all room types. Registered nurses are on site 24 hours a day, and all staff receive regular dementia-specific training to ensure personalised, values-led care. Residents enjoy an active lifestyle programme including music relaxation, art classes, gardening, cultural celebration days, and shopping trips, supported by visiting allied health professionals including a physiotherapist, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, podiatrist, and dentist. The facility has received several Better Practice Awards, including for its leisure and lifestyle programme and innovative use of technology.
