Luson Aged Care is now operated by For Purpose Aged Care (FPACA), a national not-for-profit residential aged care provider that was formed through the strategic acquisition of Luson and Signature Care, operating over 2,000 beds across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia. For Purpose offers permanent residential care, respite care, dementia-specific care, and palliative care, with 24/7 registered nursing support available at all homes. Facilities feature modern private ensuite rooms with smart TVs, dietician-approved seasonal menus, and a full calendar of lifestyle activities, along with on-site amenities such as cafés, hair salons, cinema rooms, libraries, and landscaped gardens. Accommodation costs (RADs) across the network range from approximately $350,000 to $850,000 depending on room type and location, with government-supported options available for eligible residents. The organisation has a stated social mission to relieve poverty and suffering among older Australians and reinvests surplus into care services and workforce development.
