CatholicCare Wilcannia - Forbes

CatholicCare Wilcannia-Forbes is a Catholic not-for-profit community services organisation headquartered in Forbes, NSW, serving the western 52% of NSW across a region of over 414,000 square kilometres. Formerly known as CentaCare, it was established on 23 January 1996 and has grown to employ up to 100 staff supporting thousands of individuals annually. The organisation provides a broad range of social support services including mental health and wellbeing, family and relationship counselling, financial counselling, homelessness and domestic violence support, and youth and parenting programmes. It has a strong commitment to serving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, with almost 40% of clients identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. This is a community and social services provider, not a residential aged care facility.
