Spring Bay Community and Health Centre in Triabunna is a government-operated multi-purpose health and aged care service on Tasmania's east coast, delivering integrated residential aged care, sub-acute health services, and primary community health to the Glamorgan-Spring Bay council area — a sparsely populated coastal region stretching from Orford to Bicheno. As the principal health and aged care facility for the east coast's small towns and rural properties, the Centre fills a critical gap for communities too remote to rely on Hobart for routine and ongoing care, providing a homelike residential environment where older east coast Tasmanians can be cared for close to the communities, fishing harbours, and coastal landscapes they know and love. The Centre is operated by the Tasmanian Department of Health under its rural and remote service model.
