TransCare Hunter Limited

TransCare Hunter Limited is a not-for-profit community support organisation based in Scone, NSW, serving the Upper Hunter region. It provides entry-level aged care services under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), helping older people remain living independently at home. Services include domestic assistance, Meals on Wheels, individual and group social support, home maintenance, community transport, and equipment supply. TransCare also partners with Home Caring Maitland to deliver home care packages and provides brokerage services to other aged care providers in the region. The organisation relies heavily on a volunteer workforce of approximately 80 people from the Upper Hunter and Muswellbrook Shires.
