Orana Gardens is a not-for-profit, community-owned aged care organisation in Dubbo, NSW, established in 1989 by members of the Dubbo RSL Sub-Branch and operating as a standalone entity since 2017. Situated on a 16.8-acre estate near the Dubbo Regional Botanical Gardens and Orana Mall, it offers both independent retirement living (148 villas) and a 125-bed residential aged care facility. Recently renovated facilities include a Country Club, heated indoor pool, gym, hairdresser, outdoor BBQ and dining areas, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The home is staffed by over 190 professionals, including a 24-hour registered nursing team and allied health staff, providing personalised care across all residential aged care levels. As the only locally founded and operated aged care business in Dubbo, Orana Gardens also offers respite care with easy transition from the co-located retirement village to residential care.
