Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) Aged Care is a not-for-profit organisation operating a purpose-built five-storey residential aged care home in Clifton Hill, Victoria, featuring 114 single rooms with 24-hour registered nursing support, situated opposite Darling Gardens. With more than 80 years of experience working alongside older people, BSL also provides support at home, centre-based and overnight cottage respite, independent living units, and social connections programs across multiple inner Melbourne locations. Care is delivered through a holistic case management approach, welcoming residents of any ethnicity, cultural background, religious belief, or gender identity. BSL supplements its direct services with research and advocacy through its Social Policy and Research Centre, with a particular focus on reducing disadvantage among older Australians.
