Sacred Heart Community - Sacred Heart Mission

Sacred Heart Community is a high care residential aged care facility located at 101 Grey Street, St Kilda, Victoria, operated by Sacred Heart Mission since 1994. The facility provides 24-hour aged care, clinical support, and palliative care services for up to 97 residents, with 120 people supported in 2024–25. It specialises in caring for people with histories of chronic homelessness, mental health issues, disability, and significant drug and alcohol use, including younger residents who qualify for aged care due to premature ageing from persistent disadvantage. The facility is both Aged Care and NDIS accredited and offers a social inclusion and lifestyle programme alongside clinical care. Sacred Heart Community aims to be a permanent home for life, prioritising meaningful relationships between staff and residents, particularly those who have lost contact with family.
