Meracare

Meracare is a family-founded aged care provider established in 1996 by George and Lizzie, operating three residential nursing homes in Carrum Downs, Frankston, and Wangaratta, Victoria, as well as managing two retirement villages. The facilities offer permanent residential care, short and long-stay respite, DVA care, complex health care, dementia care planning, and palliative care, with a Registered Nurse on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Meracare emphasises a small, homely environment with freshly cooked meals prepared daily on-site and a 7-day lifestyle programme. Rooms include private ensuites, shared rooms, and couple rooms with ensuites, and residents are encouraged to personalise their space.
