Umbrella Multicultural Community Care Services Inc. is a not-for-profit home care agency serving culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) and LGBTIQA+ seniors in Perth, Western Australia, for 25 years. It provides government-funded in-home support through the Support at Home and Commonwealth Home Support Program services, matching support workers based on culture and language across Italian, Macedonian, Bosnian, Polish, German, Romanian, Iranian, English, and Croatian communities. The organisation also operates the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme to reduce social isolation and runs specialist programmes in palliative care and cancer prevention for diverse communities. A new community hub at Olive Tree House in Bayswater will expand these services, including the Care Finder team and social support groups.
