HammondCare Grey Gum Social Club is a day respite program located at the Yarrawarrah Community Centre in the Sutherland Shire, NSW, operating every Wednesday from 9:30am to 2:30pm. It provides day respite care and social engagement for older people living with frail aged needs or dementia in a safe and inclusive environment. Tailored activities include bus outings, gardening, painting, exercise sessions, board games, and reminiscing, with home-cooked nutritious meals prepared fresh on-site each day. The service also provides carers and family members with a regular break from their caring role. Pastoral care support and referrals to other services are available through the club.
