Halwyn Centre

Halwyn Centre is a Queensland Government-operated Supported Independent Living (SIL) service located at 76 Waterworks Road, Red Hill QLD, run under Metro North Health's Community and Oral Health division. The centre provides permanent residential care and respite care for NDIS participants who have complex high-care needs, including physical, intellectual, communication, behavioural and developmental health conditions, with all residents being wheelchair dependent. The facility has 20 permanent beds and provides 24/7 care covering all activities of daily living, supported by registered nursing staff, activity coordinators, social workers, and a visiting medical officer. As of the most recent update, the centre is not accepting new permanent or respite clients. Visiting hours are Monday to Sunday, 9:30am to 7:00pm.
