Pilbara & Kimberley Care in Karratha provides aged care and community support services across the vast Pilbara and Kimberley regions of Western Australia, a service area spanning some of the most spectacular and remote country on earth, from the red iron ore ranges of the Pilbara to the gorges and boab trees of the Kimberley. The service supports elderly residents of Karratha — the fast-growing resources hub built around the North West Shelf LNG operations — and surrounding Pilbara communities, including Aboriginal residents from surrounding Ngarluma, Yindjibarndi, and Banyjima communities. Karratha has transformed from a purpose-built resource town into a modern regional city, and Pilbara & Kimberley Care provides an important aged care presence for a community that has seen extraordinary growth driven by iron ore and LNG.
