Mullangarrie Transition Care Unit of Carey Gardens, Baptist Care

The Mullangarrie Transition Care Unit is a hospital-to-home step-down unit co-located with BaptistCare Carey Gardens in Red Hill, funded and operated in partnership between BaptistCare and ACT Health. The unit provides short-term, goal-directed care for older people discharged from hospital who are not yet ready to return home, offering rehabilitation, therapy, and support to restore function and confidence before the transition back to independent or supported living. This is a time-limited service, not a permanent aged care facility.
