Banksia Villages Limited is a not-for-profit provider located in the seaside village of Broulee on the Eurobodalla Nature Coast of NSW, established in 1992. It offers independent retirement living, fully accredited residential aged care (permanent, respite and palliative), and home care services under one organisation. All residential and retirement services are co-located on a single site, supporting an ageing-in-place philosophy where residents do not need to move as their care needs change. In 2025, Banksia Lodge completed a conversion to the Small Household Model of Care and added a new café following a successful 2021 grant. The organisation is community-oriented and won the Outstanding Community Organisation category at the NSW Business Awards in 2024.

Compliance action The regulator (the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission) can take formal action when a home falls short of the standards — from a direction to improve, up to a Notice of Non-Compliance or sanctions.
