Talbot Place is a modern, spacious 30-bed aged care community in Ballarat, centrally located on the Queen Elizabeth Centre site in Dana Street and operated by Grampians Health. The single-storey residence features skylights and large windows for natural light, two secure courtyards with raised vegetable gardens, and is divided into two wings, each with its own living and dining areas. Accommodation comprises 14 single rooms with private ensuites and 8 double rooms with shared ensuites, all with height-adjustable electric beds, nurse call bells and internet access. The home offers long-term residential care, palliative care and short-term respite, with a Registered Nurse on duty 24/7 and access to allied health services including dietetics, speech pathology and physiotherapy. Daily activities are run by the Meaningful Life Team, and fees can be paid by refundable deposit, daily payment or a combination of both.
