Monaro Retirement Villas

Monaro Retirement Villas is a not-for-profit independent living community located in Cooma, NSW, comprising 19 self-contained two-bedroom villas across two sites — 12 at 7 Fachin Avenue and 7 at 1 Brown Close. The village was established in 1989 with a grant from the Cooma Rotary Club and is managed by an entirely voluntary committee with a paid administrator. Each villa includes two bedrooms, an attached single-car garage, wheelchair and mobility scooter access, an equipped kitchen, large skylight, and ducted reverse cycle air conditioning. Units are fitted with a Safety Link personal alarm system for emergency use. The village is designed exclusively for retirees who can live independently, with no nursing or residential aged care services provided on site.
