Murray Vale Shalem Residential Care

Murray Vale Shalem is a 60-bed residential aged care facility in Lavington, Albury NSW, operated by UPA of NSW Ltd on a single level set in landscaped gardens. The facility includes a dedicated 20-bed Shalem memory support unit for residents living with dementia, where staff are trained in specialised dementia care and the Montessori Method is used to support meaningful activities running 7:30am–7:30pm seven days a week. The main facility offers 40 single rooms with ensuite and direct garden access, while Shalem provides 20 single ensuites in a calm, purpose-designed environment with secure outdoor areas. The facility provides 24-hour care delivered by registered and enrolled nurses, a physiotherapist, and an occupational therapist. Residential respite care is also available, and the facility is located within walking distance of medical services and a major shopping centre in Lavington.
