Great Ocean Road Health is a rural public health service on Victoria's Surf Coast, operating across two campuses in Lorne (Albert Street) and Apollo Bay (75 McLachlan Street). It was formed on 1 July 2019 through the amalgamation of Lorne Community Hospital and Otway Health under a single entity. The service provides residential aged care alongside respite care, palliative care, 24/7 urgent care, acute care, allied health, community care, medical centres and mental health services for the Apollo Bay, Lorne and broader Otways communities. It acknowledges the Gadubanud People of the Maar Nation and is committed to providing a culturally safe environment and improving health outcomes for First Nations people.
