The Bays Aged Care is a not-for-profit residential aged care community located in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula, approximately one hour south of Melbourne, nestled along the Hastings Foreshore overlooking French Island and Western Port Bay. The facility offers permanent residential care, respite care, and specialist dementia support through a dedicated Memory Support Household, with registered nurses and carers available around the clock. The community is organised into smaller, home-like households, each featuring lounge areas with fireplaces, terraces or courtyards, and spacious private suites with ensuites that residents may furnish and decorate as they choose. Residents enjoy freshly prepared home-cooked meals reviewed by a dietitian, an on-site café, hairdressing salon, library, landscaped gardens with walking paths, and a resident-driven lifestyle programme that includes exercise groups, bus outings, gardening, art, and pastoral care with on-site church services. The facility is proudly part of Apollo Care, a national alliance of not-for-profit aged care communities dedicated to strengthening regional aged care across Australia.
