Simpkin House is a 30-bed residential aged care facility in Bendigo specialising in mental health care for older persons with severe behavioural and psychological symptoms. All 30 rooms are single-occupancy with ensuites in a secure, purpose-built environment across three wings with senior registered nurses on-site 24/7. The facility provides comprehensive allied health services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics and podiatry, plus specialised diabetes, pain and palliative care management. The home features extensive gardens with therapeutic areas including a farm feature, men's shed and outdoor recreation spaces, complemented by on-site hairdressing, multipurpose activity rooms and a community bus for outings.
