McLean Care

McLean Care is an Inverell-based not-for-profit aged care provider with over 70 years of history, operating six residential aged care facilities across northern NSW and south-east Queensland with a total of 370 beds. Locations include Killean (138 beds, Inverell NSW), Kolora (32 beds, Guyra NSW), Mackellar Apex Road (79 beds, Gunnedah NSW), Mackellar Alkira (41 beds, Gunnedah NSW), CWA House (40 beds, Oakey QLD), and Yallambee (60 beds, Millmerran QLD). The organisation also offers 82 independent living units co-located with its residential facilities, home and community services across NSW, QLD, and Victoria, and a virtual healthcare platform called iAgeHealth for regional and remote communities. Residential care is provided with 24-hour registered nursing support and an in-house Leisure and Lifestyle team. In February 2026, McLean Care announced plans to transition its operations to a new provider due to financial pressures facing regional aged care operators.
