Prom Country Aged Care (PCAC) is a 70-bed, community-based not-for-profit residential aged care facility at 9 O'Connell Road, Foster, in Victoria's South Gippsland Prom Coast district. Operating since 1985 and now housed in a modern purpose-built home opened in 2013 (with later extensions), it provides ageing-in-place long-term care and short-term respite care guided by the Eden Alternative philosophy of person-directed care. All rooms are single with private ensuites, and larger suites with kitchenettes are also available across four wings, each with its own dining room, lounge and courtyard. Shared facilities include a cinema room, café, library, gym, art space, men's shed, sensory area and an on-site hairdresser, and the home sits within the Foster Health Precinct alongside South Gippsland Hospital and the Foster Medical Centre. It is managed by a voluntary community board and runs an active lifestyle programme including musical entertainment, bingo, a garden club and special event celebrations.
