Respect's Toogoolawah Alkira is a country-style residential aged care home at 2 Charles Street, Toogoolawah QLD, set amongst open green fields in a farming town. It offers residential, respite, palliative and secure dementia care, including a Memory Support Unit running Montessori and doll therapy programs, alongside on-site Retirement Living Units. Every resident has a 25m² room with a private ensuite, heating and cooling, an adjustable bed and a 24-hour nurse call system, and a registered nurse is rostered around the clock. The home has sunlit courtyards for family barbecues, a dedicated play area for visiting grandchildren, and a full activity calendar of bingo, trivia, live music, movies and arts and crafts, plus scenic outings on the community bus.
