BCR Communities (formerly Bay & Basin Community Resources)

BCR Communities (formerly Bay & Basin Community Resources) is a not-for-profit community services organisation based in Sanctuary Point, NSW, that has been serving the Shoalhaven and Illawarra regions for over 30 years. The organisation provides aged care Support at Home services including Home Care Packages, Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), home maintenance, wellness programmes, and day respite care. They also operate Paradise Cottage, an overnight respite cottage in Sanctuary Point for people aged over 65, including those living with dementia, described as one of the only overnight respite options in the central Shoalhaven area. Beyond aged care, BCR Communities delivers NDIS, youth, and broad community services including a community radio station (Bay & Basin 92.7FM). The organisation was assessed as fully compliant against all Aged Care Standards in a 2024 ACQSC audit.
