Ozcare's Miriam Vale Day Respite Centre provides supportive care for isolated seniors one hour south of Gladstone, operating on Tuesdays, Fridays and alternate Wednesdays from 9am to 2pm. Clients benefit from group and individual activities including gentle exercise, crafts, games, gardening, concerts and social outings, plus meals and transport assistance. The centre is run by Ozcare, a Catholic not-for-profit aged care provider with 30 years' experience across Queensland.
