Aged Care Assessment Team

The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) based in Wyoming on the Central Coast is a government-funded multidisciplinary assessment service that determines the care needs and funding eligibility of older people seeking government-subsidised aged care services. The team conducts comprehensive assessments of older Australians to determine the most appropriate care and support options, including entry to residential aged care or home care packages. ACAT is an assessment and referral body, not a residential care provider.
