Broadsound Coastal Care

Broadsound Coastal Care is a not-for-profit community care organisation based in Carmila, Queensland, providing basic care and maintenance services to the frail aged, younger persons with disabilities, and their carers. Operating since 1991, the organisation aims to prevent premature or inappropriate entry into long-term residential care. It particularly serves rural and remote populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons, veterans, financially disadvantaged persons, and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The organisation is administered by Broadsound Coastal Community Development Association Inc.
