Polish Retirement Home

The Polish Retirement Home is a 30-bed residential aged care facility located at 3 Percival Street, Bayswater, Victoria, nestled at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Opened in 1993 through the generosity of the Polish community in Victoria and the Federal Government, it is operated by the Australian Polish Benevolent Association (APBA), a not-for-profit community organisation established in 1986. The home accommodates 29 permanent residents and one respite resident, with staff providing 24-hour care in English, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, and other Slavic languages. Polish cuisine, Polish-language activities, and culturally appropriate care are central to the home's philosophy. Respite care is available for short stays of up to 63 days per financial year.
