Morven Hospital

Morven Hospital in Morven is a rural hospital and multi-purpose health service in the remote Maranoa outback community of Morven, 700 km west of Brisbane, providing acute, aged care, and community health services for the pastoral station workers and small-town residents of the remote Warrego–Maranoa corridor. The hospital provides residential aged care beds as part of its integrated rural health service, enabling older residents of this outback community to receive ongoing care close to home without displacement to larger centres. As a Queensland Health Multi-Purpose Health Service, Morven Hospital serves one of the most geographically isolated communities in Queensland.
